Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka's birthplace was Minsk which is located in Belarus. Sergey, her father (who passed away in 2019) was an ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born on May 5th, 1998, at Minsk Belarus. She has 12 WTA titles to her name in her career, including the Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. Also, she is a great doubles player. She has won two other Majors in this area, the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both by Elise Mertens. In 2019, she was the winner of each of in the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian Partner, who completed the Sunshine Double. This feat was made possible by four couples competing in female doubles. In January of 2023 she surpassed her top ranking in singles. The 23rd day of August 2021, she climbed to the second spot in the World rankings. As a doubles player, she was able to propel herself up to first place in February of the same year, following the win in Melbourne becoming thus the second tennis player from Belarus to make it in the sport of doubles. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis star, coached her during her 2018 season to the close of this season in 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was briefly with her from August to September 2020. As of the year 2020's end, she's been trained by her countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova were her models.
